Well another year is in the books and this year was exceptional. In one year we more than doubled both participants and money raised. I am pleased to announce that we had 39 participants and raised $1232 for MS Research and Support Programs. If you didn't make the tournament, you missed out on a great time. The weather was clear with temps in the low 70's and the river was perfect. Lots of great fish were turned in and it seemed that nearly everyone caught fish. Congratulations goes out to Matt Anderson for winning both the tourney as well as the 50/50 Calcutta with a total length of 63 inches and a calcutta winning 35 inch blue cat.

Also, congratulations goes out to Jesse Wade with a 2nd place finish of 57.5 inches and Jim Covais with a 3rd Place 57 inch submission.
Below are some photos from on the water during the event. Planning is already underway for the Shad Shootout 2014 and if history has anything to say, next year will be even bigger. My goal is to once again double up on registrations. If you know anyone who likes to fish, please let them know about this great tourney. I will see everyone again next year!!!!
